South Asian Women’s Action Collective works with self-identified women in the Scarborough-area to come up with creative strategies to end systemic and domestic Violence Against Women (VAW). We are a working group under the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA).
Sisters Spotlight
In collaboration with the Brown Canada Project, we are creating a space where South Asian women’s herstories can be shared. This project challenges mainstream Canadian historical and political discourses by creating alternative narratives, whether oral, written or visual by women, racialized, queer, disabled and indigenous communities. If you would like to submit yourstory or recommend someone, please email hadia@cassa.on.ca
